HERNDON, VA – The Virginia Chamber of Commerce named Karsun Solutions, a government modernization firm, among the 2020 Virginia’s Fantastic 50. This is the second year in a row Karsun ranked on this annual list of the fifty fastest growing companies in Virginia. The announcement comes as both organizations observe landmark anniversaries. Karsun recently marked its 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of fast growth and service to its government customers. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Fantastic 50 program is the only statewide awards program of its kind which honors the fifty fastest growing companies in the Commonwealth.
“Small business is the heart of our economy and we are pleased to honor the entrepreneurial spirit and hard work of Virginia’s fifty fastest growing businesses,” said Barry DuVal, President and CEO of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. “Although we are unable to honor these business leaders and their dedicated teams in-person, due to COVID-19, we applaud each of these companies who continue to set the bar higher every year and want to ensure they receive the recognition they deserve for their contributions to the Commonwealth.”
Even as the business climate rapidly changes, Karsun Solutions is investing in future growth. In March it announced it moved to virtual hiring in support of its Talent Team staff and its rapidly expanding teams. As the organization’s software development, cloud, and advanced analytics practices grow it anticipates staffing up throughout 2020.
“We celebrate the drive and vision exemplified by our fellow honorees,” said Sundar Vaidyanathan, CEO at Karsun Solutions. “This mindset inspires us to press on, serving our customers, driving innovation, and delivering extraordinary work as we ensure the safety and well-being of our teams.”
In addition to the Fantastic 50, the Chamber announced three Virginia Vanguard winners, recognized for the highest growth in the categories of service and technology, and recognizing the company with the highest overall growth in Virginia.
More information on each of the Fantastic 50 businesses for this year can be found in the feature story published by Virginia Business Magazine.
