HERNDON, VA- The Washington Business Journal included Karsun Solutions in its annual list of the 75 fastest-growing private companies in the Washington, D.C. region. This is Karsun Solutions’ second year on the list. Rankings will be released in a virtual event on October 21st at 5:00 PM.

Karsun Solutions appeared on two previous Washington Business Journal growth lists. In addition to last year’s Fast 75 ranking, it was named to the 50 Fastest Growing Companies list in 2017. That ranking was a forerunner to the current award program. Mr. Vaidyanathan was also honored with a Minority Business Leader Award by the journal in 2019.
Capping Off Ten Years of Growth
This recognition comes as Karsun marks its tenth year in operation. Throughout this period Karsun realized strong growth across its portfolios. The growing enterprise modernization firm delivers modern software development, cloud solutions, and data and analytics solutions to government agencies including the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Aviation Administration, and General Services Administration.
The firm also nabbed several wins early in 2020. In the first half of the year, it announced the General Services Administration (GSA) awarded it a spot on the Enterprise Data Information Management (EDIM) blanket purchase agreement (BPA). In June it announced it was awarded the GSA Enhanced Checkout (GECO) Task Order. GECO was awarded under the CIO Modernization and Enterprise Transformation (COMET) blanket purchase agreement (BPA). Twelve companies were awarded a spot on the multiple award BPA. Karsun Solutions is among the first companies to receive a task order under the vehicle awarded last year.

The Fast 75 award recognizes the fastest growing private firms in Washington, D.C. To rank companies must have more than $2 million in revenue in 2016 and more than $10 million in revenue in 2018 to qualify. Growth must be consecutive year-over-year. Only the top 75 companies are recognized. Rankings will be announced at a ceremony on October 24th at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

Earlier this year Vaidyanathan was also recognized by the Washington Business Journal at their 12th Annual Minority Business Leader Awards. Honorees are among the Washington region’s top 25 minority business leaders. That award recognizes entrepreneurial drive, creativity and success.
Karsun Solutions previously appeared on the Washington Business 50 Fastest Growing Companies list in 2017. Moreover, this is the organization’s third award for growth this year. In August Inc. Magazine revealed Karsun Solutions ranked among the Inc. 5000 for the fifth year in a row. Only four percent of Inc. 5000 firms rank five times. Additionally, the Virginia Chamber of Commerce also ranked the company among the Fantastic 50, the chamber’s list of the 50 fastest growing private firms in Virginia.
To support the company’s continuous growth Karsun Solutions will open a new corporate headquarters in Herndon, Virginia this month. The new 75,000 square foot space will include both corporate and customer teams. In addition to expanded amenities, the new headquarters will house the Karsun Innovation Center and training facilities.
