Like many organizations, Karsun transitioned to a remote workforce in 2020. Chae Song, the program manager for Karsun’s GSA Fleet Program, received a FORUM IMPACT award from the industry news sites FORUM/g2xchange. This award recognized exceptional women technology leaders from government and industry. In addition to industry award recognition, Karsun experts and executives appeared as thought leaders in white papers, panel discussions and industry podcasts. Karsun Solutions proudly announces Chae Song is among the 2023 IMPACT awardees. The awards will be presented at the FORUM Leading for IMPACT Women in Leadership Conference on November 7, 2023. The award recognizes women creating IMPACT within the Federal Civilian, Federal Health, and Military Health, Technology, and Consulting Communities.

Chae Song is a Senior Director at Karsun Solutions and the program manager for its General Services Administration (GSA) Advanced Fleet Platform modernization program. Karsun began work on the platform in 2020. In addition to her ongoing leadership of Karsun’s GSA programs, she has led other growth, talent and client solutions projects for Karsun. 

Chae has extensive experience delivering a broad portfolio of IT solutions and services to clients across the acquisitions, financial, telecommunications, healthcare, and public sector industries. She also has deep experience building collaboration among technical, project management and business teams. That includes leading complex modernization efforts using mature DevSecOps practices, microservices, and other cloud technologies, ensuring rapid development and improved security. Her ability to mobilize diverse project teams to deliver solutions with business values has been demonstrated for numerous government agency clients.

Chae Song will receive her award at the 2023 Leading for IMPACT Women in Leadership Conference on November 7 at the National Press Club. FCW (Federal Computer Week), a publication for federal technology executives, named Karsun Solutions Chief Operating Officer Terry Miller to its annual Federal 100 list. The Fed 100 is a list of 100 men and women who personify what’s possible in federal IT. Honorees will be recognized at the 2020 Fed 100 Gala on March 19.

Miller works with the operations, business development, and technology teams to prepare Karsun for customer delivery excellence. Prior to joining Karsun, he served as the Public Sector COO for Visionary Integration Professionals. He also held various leadership positions at CSC and Harris Corporation. Prior to joining private industry, he served as the Associate Director of Intergovernmental Affairs at The White House. In this capacity, he was the liaison between the President and state and local government elected officials.

He was also the 2019 Industry Chair of the American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council’s (ACT-IAC) highly regarded Partners Program, a training and professional development curriculum that pairs “rising star” leaders from government and industry.  New under Miller’s leadership, the group formed three challenge teams to provide direct solutions to government agencies (GSA, NASA, SBA). He is also a graduate of the Partners Program and was the Chair of the Management of Change (MOC) event in 2013.

Miller is the second Karsun Solutions executive named to the prestigious list. In 2015, Co-Founder and Chief Architect Kartik Mecheri was honored. At that time, Mecheri was recognized for support to the General Services Administration’s agile delivery teams and innovation lab 18F. OXON HILL, MD- The Washington Business Journal honored Karsun Solutions Chief Executive Officer Sundar Vaidyanathan at the 12th annual Minority Business Leader Awards. Held on March 28th, 2019 at the MGM National Harbor, honorees are among the Washington region’s top 25 minority business leaders. The award recognizes entrepreneurial drive, creativity and success.

Vaidyanathan co-founded Karsun Solutions with Kartik Mecheri, the organization’s Chief Architect. They founded Karsun as an IT consulting firm with an agile mindset. This vision centered on challenging the tradeoff between cost and quality through innovation. The Karsun Innovation Center, an in-house research and development unit, was an early investment dedicated to solving difficult customer problems. .

Vaidyanathan merges this innovative spirit with a drive toward high performance and quality outcomes for Karsun’s customers. During his tenure, Karsun Solutions won multiple hundred million dollar plus contracts as the prime contractor. Beginning in 2015, it earned a spot four years in a row on the Inc. 5000.In its first eight years the organization saw twenty-fold growth in employee headcount.
