HERNDON, VA – Karsun Solutions LLC (Karsun) completed a novation for the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading-Edge Solutions (EAGLE II) Functional Category 1 (FC1) Unrestricted Vehicle. The organization recently acquired the DHS Software Development Business Unit from EPS Corporation. With this acquisition and the completion of the novation, Karsun is now a prime contractor on the EAGLE II vehicle.
EAGLE II is a multiple-award indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle. With a ceiling value of $22 billion, EAGLE II is the primary information technology (IT) services vehicle at DHS. The vehicle provides a flexible means of meeting DHS’s IT needs quickly, efficiently, and cost effectively.
The EAGLE II vehicle includes three functional categories. Karsun Solutions is a prime contractor under Functional Category 1 – Service Delivery. In this capacity, the Karsun Solutions team may deliver Integration, Software Design/Development, and Operations and Maintenance services.

Karsun Solutions is the primary contractor on multiple $100 million plus contracts. The organization is the prime contractor on the General Service Administration’s (GSA) CAMEO Small Business contract, which includes initiatives supporting acquisition planning, solicitation writing, contract award and contract administration functions. It is also the prime contractor on the Federal Aviation Administration’s Software Solutions Delivery contract. In this capacity, the organization supports the FAA’s Office of Information Technology (FAA AIT). Additional IT modernization contract vehicles include GSA’s IT 70 and Alliant Small Business vehicles and FAA’s eFAST vehicle. Other Federal government customers include the Smithsonian and Government Accountability Office (GAO).
