Join Aditi Mulay and Ricardo Mediavilla at Agile 2019 for their talk on Leveraging Software Development Principles into Automation Framework. Agile 2019 is Agile Alliance’s annual North American conference. This year participants join Agile experts August 5-9 at the Gaylord National near Washington, D.C. Agile Alliance is a worldwide nonprofit organization dedicated to professionals exploring and applying Agile values, principles and practices to software development.
Aditi and Ricardo will speak at 10:45 am on Tuesday, August 6. Their talk compares automation framework development to application development. They take principles drawn from Object-Oriented Programming then apply those concepts to automation framework development practices, improving frameworks’ reusability and reliability.
About Aditi Mulay
Aditi Mulay is currently working as a Test Automation Lead at Karsun Solutions LLC, ensuring code quality and increasing test coverage for a web-based application. As a trainer and mentor to QA teams, she leads the implementation of automation best practices. Her diverse experience encompasses the education, telecommunications, and government sectors. She specializes in building automation frameworks using open source tools. These frameworks include tools utilized by both QAs with technical and non-technical backgrounds. She advocates for automating in the right manner and ensuring that the tests are reusable and maintainable. Aditi has previously appeared at SeleniumConf and Agile Testing Days conferences.
About Ricardo Mediavilla
Ricardo Mediavilla has practiced the UI and API test automation arts for seven years. He is a test automation engineer, supporting various government contracts throughout his tenure at Karsun Solutions. His automation experience is varied, including education, advertising, immigration and aviation fields. An electrical engineer by trade and test automation developer by choice, he enjoys applying his knowledge in the development of automation frameworks, as well as also coaching teams and individuals. He frequently enjoys an energetic bicycle ride with friends along the trails of Northern Virginia and its rural roads.
