SeaPort-e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the U. S Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst 1800+ SeaPort-e IDIQ multiple award contract holders. The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members. All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort-e platform. Since nearly 85% of its contract–holders are small businesses, the SeaPort-e approach to acquiring services provides opportunity that fuels the Nation’s engine of job growth.

The Karsun Solutions, LLC, (Karsun) Team, comprising of Karsun, and our subcontractors – Orion System Integrators, Inc. (Orion) and System Edge (USA), LLC (System Edge), developed its depth and breadth over the last five (5) years of support Orion and System Edge provided to NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR and the Warfare Centers within the U.S. Navy. This depth and breadth encompasses a long-term partnership with NAVSEA and includes the design, manufacture, deployment, training, maintenance, and modernization of many of the systems in the Fleet today. Our team has offices in all seven zones and our team member, Orion, and System Edge are currently supporting multiple Functional Areas in all seven zones as subcontractors to Deloitte Consulting (Deloitte) – previously Bearing Point, Ernst & Young (E&Y), Lockheed Martin Information Technology (LMIT), and Computer Science Corporation (CSC).

Karsun is founded in the year 2009, headquartered in Herndon, Virginia – is a well-established Small Business. Karsun specializes in providing support services in the area of Information Technology (IT), Network Management, Computer Facilities Management, Program Management, Management Consulting, Administrative & Professional Support Services and Training to several Government agencies including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and U.S. General Services Administration.

Orion is a Large Business headquartered in Metro New York area with offices in each of the seven (7) zones, over $150M in annual revenues, and more than 500 employees. Orion through its acquisition of Namtra Business Solutions, Inc. (NBS) – is a current Seaport “Enhanced” prime contractor with contracts in Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 and strong relevant past performance on multiple U.S. Navy contracts. Orion has successfully implemented more than 600 Information Technology (IT), and professional services projects, and served more than 200 clients in the private as well as the Government sector, over past 20 years.

System Edge, founded in the year 1995, and based in Iselin, New Jersey, is a well-established Information Technology (IT) and Engineering Services consulting company with more than 200 private and public sector clients and 500 successful consulting contract implementations in the United States, Europe and Asia. System Edge has served several Federal, State Government agencies as well as Fortune 500 companies. System Edge has annual revenues of $8.5M, employs 85 people and has offices in multiple Zones.

Seaport-e Quality Assurance

Karsun Solutions, LLC’s (Karsun) has established a Quality Management System (QMS) to assure quality to our customers. The Karsun’s QMS defines the processes, procedures, and methodologies that will be used by Karsun to assure quality its products and the timely delivery of the specified requirements within project resources. Karsun has also established methods to continually improve upon the effectiveness of the QMS.

Karsun has:

  • Identified the processes needed for the Quality management system,
  • Determined the sequence and interaction of these processes,
  • Determined criteria and methods required to ensure the effective operation and control of these processes

Karsun is:

  • Ensuring the availability of information necessary to support the operation and monitoring of these processes;
  • Measuring, monitoring and analyzing these processes, and
  • Implementing action necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement.

Quality Control

The Managing Partner of Karsun is the owner of the quality control process and shall institute and provide procedures that produce the specified outcomes. Karsun shall develop, implement, and modify the processes that ensure that performance standards are met. The processes will be directly related to the performance objectives identified in their requirement descriptions. Karsun will continuously monitor and evaluate our employee performance to ensure the all requirements are met.

Problem Resolution goes hand-in-hand with customer satisfaction. Our emphasis is on the customer. The leadership/management chain of control is available at all times. Any and every issue will be dealt with as soon as it is brought to the attention of the company. All issues will be addressed as important and feedback will be provided quickly.
