The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Office of Information Technology (AIT) is responsible for the IT management, security, privacy, and data security across the FAA. AIT’s IT portfolio consists of a large portfolio of on-premise applications. FAA AIT is committed to designing new and innovative ways to leverage the FAA cloud to dynamically improve data analysis, enable data-driven decision-making, and streamline information retrieval by aviation stakeholders.
The Challenge
FAA AIT needed a cloud based solution to dynamically improve data analysis, enable data-driven decision-making and streamline reporting for business users. The agency also wanted to reduce the high cost of operations and maintenance of the legacy systems that were hosted on the on-premise data center. The agency also wanted to address the scalability and security issues associated with existing on-premise applications.
The Solution: Cloud Runways

The Cloud Runways refactoring path offers solutions for legacy application migration in addition to low-code/no-code applications.
