McLean, Virginia (December 16, 2020) – Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the membership and trade association for the Northern Virginia technology community, today announced Karsun Solutions among the 2020 NVTC Tech 100. The list includes groundbreaking companies, leaders and innovators within the Greater Washington region’s technology community. This year’s program attracted nearly 200 nominations that were carefully reviewed and considered by a panel of independent judges.
“While this year has presented numerous challenges to every organization and individual, it is encouraging to see so many of the area’s tech companies and executives remain resilient and committed to the health and wellbeing of their employees, the success of their companies, and industry advancement. This is a great time of year to celebrate the NVTC Tech 100 honorees and the positive impact they have made in our region,” said Jennifer Taylor, NVTC president and CEO.
Winners were celebrated at the annual NVTC Tech 100 Celebration, held virtually this year due to COVID-19. The final NVTC Tech100 Award list comprises 100 tech companies and 26 executives, each consistently demonstrating dedication, vision and innovation. Karsun Solutions was included among the technology company honorees.

Karsun concludes 2020 by expanding its leadership team in support of a series of new contracts awarded throughout the year. That success is driven in part by the in-house research and development team within the Karsun Innovation Center (KIC). Even as a fully remote organization, this innovative spirit endures. The KIC hosts monthly virtual town halls featuring new insights and prototypes from its team. Through its Practice Areas it also organizes employee-led dojos and brown bags, enabling continuous improvement among its teams.
